Install your mount

Three steps, no tools.

Installing a MomentLock mount on a canopy leg

Check your insert
Your mount ships with 1⅛" (29 mm) inserts installed. If your leg is 1" (25 mm) or 1¼" (32 mm), swap the inserts first.
Twist it onto the leg
Set the mount on the leg where you want it and give it a quarter turn to lock it in place. No tools.
Press it flush
Press down firmly by hand so the pads sit flush against the leg.

If it doesn't fit

Change inserts

Your mount ships with 1⅛" (29 mm) inserts installed. The 1" (25 mm) and 1¼" (32 mm) inserts are in the box.

Changing MomentLock inserts

Press the side tab
From the outside of the mount, press the side tab to release the insert.
Remove the insert
Pull the insert straight out.
Engage the rear tab first
Take the insert size you need and hook its rear tab into the mount first.
Seat the side tabs
Press the insert in until the side tabs seat into place.
Repeat for the second insert
Swap the other insert the same way so both match.

Loose on the leg? Try the 1" (25 mm) inserts. Too tight? Try the 1¼" (32 mm) inserts.

Add your gear

Connect accessories and hang your sign

Every MomentLock accessory uses the same quick-connect, so they all go on the same way.

Line it up
Hold the accessory so its hooks line up with the mounting points on the mount.
Tilt up and press back
Tilt the accessory up slightly and press it back toward the mount.
Rotate down to seat
As it starts to slip into the hooks, rotate it down until it seats fully and the integrated magnet engages.

Hanging a vendor sign

Connect the steel sign holder to a mount the same way as any accessory.
A front leg facing foot traffic works best for signs.
Hang your sign from the holder's arm. The arm reaches 16 in (406 mm) and holds signs up to 3 lb (1.4 kg).

Each mount has a 25 lb (11.3 kg) working load. Follow your canopy maker's instructions and your event's rules.

It's loose on my canopy leg

Switch to the 1" (25 mm) inserts (see Change inserts). Then press the mount down firmly so the pads sit flush.

It won't go on, or it's too tight

Switch to the 1¼" (32 mm) inserts. MomentLock fits most 1", 1⅛" and 1¼" square legs. 28 mm and 30 mm legs aren't supported natively, so send us a note below and we'll look at a custom insert.

My legs are hex, octagon or round

The standard mount is made for square legs. For hex or octagon legs up to 1.97 in (50 mm) across the flats, see the Pro Commercial Mount. Round legs? Send us a note below.

An accessory won't connect

Line it up with the mounting points, tilt it up slightly and press it back toward the mount, then rotate it down until the magnet engages (see Accessories). Still stuck? Send us a note below, or email a photo to support@adaptamount.com.
